A recap of our duties this week....

On Bank Holiday Monday Community First Responder Ray attended Whichford & Ascott Flower Show in RC8314 whilst Community First Responder Graham spent the afternoon at Ilmington Show in RC8187. Despite the intermittent showers our team had a great day engaging with the local community spreading awareness of our charity.

Today saw Community First Responder Martin attend Sutton under Brailes Fete in the glorious sunshine whilst ready at a moments notice to respond to an emergency.

Today draws the "fete season" to a close for our team but we will still be continuing to attend local community events during the rest of the year whilst still responding to local emergency 999 calls.

Our team aim to provide on-call cover round the clock.

Our team of volunteers have been out and about whilst on call today.

RC8187 Community First Responder & Trustee Tony attended Ettington Summer Party alongside CFRs from the neighbouring Red Horse Vale Scheme.

RC8314 Community First Responder Matthew attended Shipston Royal British Legion Summer Fete at Low Furlong - Runwood Homes Senior Living

We are slowly coming to the end of the fete season which has kept our team very busy through the summer! Thank you to all the community for the continued support!

🚨Our Community First Responders are there when you need them - day or night 🚨

While most of us are tucked up in bed, some of our Community First Responders give up their time to provide overnight over, ready to respond to emergency calls in our community.

Our volunteers work around their home and work life to provide assistance to the community and local Ambulance Service when needed.

CPR & Defibrillator Training at Ilmington Community Shop & Cafe ❤️🚑

Yesterday, Shipston Community First Responders were delighted to provide CPR and defibrillator training at Ilmington Community Shop & Cafe.

It was fantastic to see so many members of the community getting involved, learning practical skills and gaining the confidence to act in an emergency. Knowing what to do in those crucial first few minutes can make a real difference and potentially save a life.

A big thank you to everyone who took part, and to Ilmington Community Shop & Cafe for hosting us. 👏
