Unfortunately too breezy so no racing today at our RS400 Class Association RS200 Class Association RS600 Class Association Open meeting πŸ™

4 races planned for tomorrow with a 9am briefing to make the most of the day πŸ˜€

The Lower Bar is open all day today, 12 to 1030pm 🍻

- Billy serving lunch 12 - 3pm
- Skittles and games from 3pm
- Live sax music from 4pm
- Cocktail hour 5 to 6pm
- Sailors dinner 630 to 730pm

Last weekend Chris and Freya Pilling travelled to Norfolk to represent Team Warsash in the famous Three Rivers Race in their RS200 (a world first we believe!).

It turned into a long race with no wind for most of the night but after 20 hours and 50 minutes, 4 mast drops, a Lucozade MOB moment and 570 tacks they were the 13th boat to cross the line and on handicap finished 32nd from 128 entries πŸ˜€

Well done Chris and Freya, you did us proud!

What a fantastic week for our young sailors at the RS Tera Sailing UK Nationals in Plas Heli, Pwllheli, North Wales! 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 β›΅

A special well done to those competing in their very first open event – a huge achievement and a brilliant step in their sailing journey! πŸ‘

The team enjoyed challenging racing, made new friends, and gained valuable experience on the national stage. We’re incredibly proud of every sailor for their enthusiasm, determination and sportsmanship throughout the week.

🍻 Bank Holiday Monday at Warsash Sailing Club β˜€οΈβ›΅ The sun is out, it’s afternoon high water, and the bar is open from 12:00 till 18:00 🌊😊 Visiting yachtspeople are very welcome to stop by and enjoy the clubhouse atmosphere.

If you’re visiting by boat, please remember to sign the visitors’ book β€” it’s always great to see which Royal Yachting Association Clubs people have travelled from β›΅πŸ‘

Good News - Power is back on - the bar is open and food is being served.

Oh and did someone mention the sun is shining!!

We are currently experiencing power issues at the sailing club.

Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks engineers are on site, have identified the fault, and are working to resolve it.

We are hoping to open the bar at lunchtime. However, we will have limited drinks available.

Unfortunately, without power we are also unable to provide food service at this time.

We will keep you updated.
