In short term, anything that is electrical or electronic can be collected. There is a full list of items that we collect available on our website. What happens to the waste? Once we have collected the waste. It will end up in our sorting office. This is where we assess the best method of treatment. This could be resell the items, repair and refurbish the items, or send the equipment to a waste man

How does WeeeCharity make money? Any items that can be resold or refurbished for sale we list on social media and sites such as Ebay or sell them in our community shop in Warrington. Any items that end up at a waste management site will be weighed in for scrap value. What happens to the funds you raise? WeeeCharity is all about building a trust fund for other charities and community groups. They can access these funds to help them relieve poverty but not limited to. Do you charge for collection? Our Training Centre is growing rapidly and thanks to the fantastic work of our volunteers, we are struggling to keep up with the demand for stock to dismantle and recycle.
We are looking for unwanted computers, laptops, office phones and other IT equipment. Donating your old equipment helps provide valuable work experience and skills training for students, jobseekers and people supported through mental health services.
Every item donated gives someone an opportunity to learn, build confidence and gain workplace skills while helping to reduce electronic waste and keep valuable materials out of landfill.
Before you dispose of your old IT equipment, please consider donating it to us. Please share this message with friends, family, schools and businesses.
Giving people opportunities. Saving equipment from landfill. Supporting our community.
Thank you for your support.

Morning Lisa,
I just wanted to say a huge thank you for welcoming our children to The Weee Charity each week.
For many of them, this has been a completely new and invaluable experience. Some have only ever felt comfortable within the safe spaces of home or school, so having the opportunity to access a real workplace has meant so much. Through their Friday visits, they have developed important skills such as being safe, respectful and resilient, all while genuinely enjoying themselves!
The experiences you and the team have provided will stay with them, and we truly believe this opportunity will help set them up for the future, including the possibility of employment one day.
They are already saying how much they will miss their visits, especially seeing Bailey!
We really hope we may be able to visit again in the future.
Thank you again for everything you have given our students.
Kindest regards,

Meg and Maple Class
