The Skyla Project

A few weeks ago, Nic and the team at Stockton Heath Fire Station rescued ducklings that had fallen into a drain 🐥 🛟 ❤️

While there is no specialist equipment (yet 😂) in The Skyla Project small animal rescue kits for this emergency, it does highlight the different ways our fire and rescue services are on hand for all of the worlds creatures 🙏

Now that the Two Idiots One Kingdom have crossed the finish line, all of us at The Skyla Project want to say a huge thank you to Kirsty Dawn Birchall. 👏🏻❤️🙌

You really have been one of the driving forces behind this incredible journey. ❤️

While Michael and Steven cycled the miles, this amazing woman was behind the scenes making everything possible. 🚴‍♂️🚴❤️

From travelling to Scotland to support them on their way, keeping everyone updated on social media, finding sponsors, spreading the word even on holiday, holding fundraising events, organising the amazing welcome home and doing a hundred other things behind the scenes that nobody sees … all while running a business and taking care of a family! 🫶🏼

YOU were the hidden hero in this challenge! You’ve never asked for any recognition you just got stuck in and made everything happen and we just want to tell you that you’re the definition of a Superwoman. 💪 👸

From all of us at The Skyla Project, THANK YOU ❤️
