We are excited to announce our Fun Run for 2026 will take place on Friday 18th September. This is our only sponsored fundraiser event and we really appreciate the support of everyone. All proceeds go back to the school, improving their resources for all the children to benefit from. Every little helps us reach our goal.

To donate go to the main page https://gvwhl.com/ERVNK and select the year group you wish to support.

Thank you so much 😊

Our PTA have teamed up with Sammy, who represents the Leukaemia and Myeloma Research UK charity. We have scheduled a collection on Monday 13th July. Help us to help beat blood cancer together by donating your preloved items. Please ensure all bags are dropped off by 9:30am. Please have a good clear out; attached is a list of items they accept and those they can’t take. In return, the PTA will receive between 25p and 45p per kilo; the more we donate, the higher our payment per kilo is, so please give as much as you can.

Christmas Rhyme and Shine at Appleton Thorn Primary School

Our final rhyme session of the year takes place on Tuesday, 2nd December, straight after drop off (8.50 - 9.20am).

Bring your little ones (ages 0-4) along for a fun morning of singing, instrument play, bubbles, and parachute fun! We'll be throwing in some Christmas songs this week, too; festive clothing encouraged!

Everyone is welcome; you don’t need to have a child at the school to attend.

Just £1 per child, payable on the day. Entry to the school is via the hall doors to the left of the main reception. All money raised goes straight to the school to support our pupils.
