The cadets at Warrington Detachment Cheshire and Isle of Man Army Cadet Force had the honour last night of being badged to the Corps of Royal Engineers in a ceremony that took place at 75 Engineer Regiment Headquarters in Peninsular Barracks Warrington. The Ceremony was attended by Lt Colonel Nixon the Commanding Officer of 75 Engineers and RSM Corlett the Regimental Sergeant Major. Also in Attendance was Col Jones, Commandant Cheshire and Isle of Man ACF. RSM Wynne, Major Kershaw and other members of the Cheshire and Isle of Man Senior Leadership Team. Warrington Mayor Mo Hussain was also present for the ceremony where over 50 cadets and Volunteer Instructors were proudly given their new berets and regimental badges.
This rebadging underlines the strong connection Warrington Detachment already has with 75 Engineer Regiment and will forge even closer bonds enabling our cadets to have an even more expansive cadet experience. We look forward to working closely with 75 Engineer Regiment in the future.

We are proud beyond measure of our very own Cadet Sergeant Max Anderson! At The Army Cadet Force we see so many young people pushing their own limits and achieving so much and we couldn't be more proud to be a part of that.

Mayor of Warrington Cllr. Mo Hussain has congratulated Cadet Sergeant Max Anderson, who has been formally recognised by the Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire for his outstanding service and commitment to the Army Cadet Force.

Today's Remembrance day parade. Warrington Detachment parade from the Town Hall, to the cenotaph to pay their respects during the remembrance service.

They shall not grow old
As we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them
Nor the years condemn

At the going down of the sun
And in the morning
We will remember them.

Lest we forget.

An incredible day for Warrington Cadets! 🇬🇧

Members of Warrington Detachment had the honour of travelling on the Royal British Legion Poppy Train from Crewe to London Euston yesterday to lay a wreath at the War Memorial.

Some of the Highlights included a stirring performance by a bagpiper on board, and Cadet CSM Anderson proudly laying the wreath.

After a moving ceremony, the cadets joined veterans for lunch in London before enjoying a First Class journey home courtesy of Avanti Trains.

Every cadet represented Warrington Detachment, Normandy Company, and the organisation with outstanding behaviour and pride.

👏 Huge thanks to SI Clitheroe for leading and looking after the team today — and well done to everyone involved!

Cadets from Warrington Detachment will continue to represent the Detachment and pay their respects for Remembrance Day at a service being held at St. Elphin's and the Remembrance Parade tomorrow

What an amazing bake off we have had tonight with some truly show stopping cakes, I have eaten so much cake tonight I feel poorly lol. I have had zombie toes, tombstone gingerbread in an edible graveyard, a huge spider, mummy brownies, and loads of other Halloween themed cakes, the decision was very very close, so much so that we had to bring in an extra adjudicator. The winner was the amazing chocolate cake graveyard with edible tombstones, followed closely by the huge spider. all the cadets did amazing and we are so proud of them all for their hard work
