New course starting at Orford community hub - This introduction course is for complete beginners to start you off learning how to cover and smooth fondant icing over your own cakes. Over the 4 weeks you will learn how to handle and colour the fondant icing and use pre moulds to create designs. You will also make a handmade 3D easter bunny and learn the art of covering and smoothing the icing over your cake to create a professional finish. You will be given a tool kit to use while attending, which you can keep after completing and achieving the course.

NB. Basic materials are provided, including the tool kit. Please bring with you an apron and a container to take home the items you have made. You will need to bring your own cake for the last couple of sessions to cover and decorate. Full details will be given at the first week of the course.

Ready to get creative in the kitchen? This fun and friendly 5‑week beginners course is the perfect way to learn the basics of fondant icing — just in time for Easter!
Across the sessions, you’ll learn how to:
