𝐖𝐡𝐨’𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥?🏃‍♀️‍➡️

Adoption matters still has a limited number of places available for the Warrington Running Festival, taking place on 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 20𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫. There are three event options: 5k, 10k, and a half marathon.

With longer evenings and better weather🌤️, it’s a great time to start training and work towards a personal goal. Taking part also offers the chance to support Adoption Matters, a children’s that recruits and prepares adoptive parents for children in the care system. Currently, over 3,000 children in England are waiting to be adopted.

Warrington Climate Emergency Commission is hosting a screening of The People’s Emergency Briefing, a powerful evidence-based film outlining the climate and nature challenges facing our communities.

The screening is recommended for business leaders and decision-makers seeking greater clarity on how climate and nature impacts translate into commercial, operational, and financial risk and what this means for long term long-term operational resilience and competitiveness.

The short film features entrepreneur Deborah Meadan, naturalist Chris Packham, a former senior military leader and leading scientists. It explores risks already affecting businesses including supply chain disruption, food security, infrastructure resilience, health, and economic stability.
