Active Futures Warrington

Active Futures Warrington Active Futures is the new name for Positive Futures.

The project still provides the same exciting and engaging activities for young people in all areas of the town. The main aims are
- to engage children & young people between the ages 7-16 yrs using sports and physical activity
- to provide diversionary activities at times of greatest need and in areas of greatest need (Hot Spots)
- to work with those classed as NEET (Not in employment education or

training) and to get them back on track with entry level qualifications
- to use sport and physical activity as the tool to enhance peoples development, aspirations and to stop the cycle of low achievement
- to engage and develop volunteers in the community to make activities and project sustainable
- to promote community cohesion by facilitating activities and events that break down barriers between old and young.

between the Streetleague select team
and an All Star team consisting of ex pro's
