Wow… what a day!! 💗
Pippa will always be so deeply special to us, but it’s incredible to see just how special you all made her feel today, as we all got TWOgether to celebrate what would have been her 2nd birthday. 🦋
We had an absolutely fantastic turnout, with friends, family and so many kind members of our community coming together to support Pippa, our family and Liverpool Women’s Hospital. We genuinely cannot thank you all enough.
To everyone who came along, bought raffle tickets, donated prizes, gave up their time, helped behind the scenes, shared our posts or simply spoke Pippa’s name — thank you. Every single bit of support means more to us than we could ever put into words. The fact that you all do this for our girl is truly incredible, and we feel so incredibly lucky to have such amazing people helping us keep her memory alive. 💗
Baby loss is one of the hardest things a family can ever go through, and the support provided by Liverpool Women’s Hospital is so incredibly important and special. As a family, I honestly don’t know where we would be without the hospital, its incredible staff and the care they provide. The money raised through events like this helps ensure that families facing the unimaginable receive the support, kindness and care that goes that extra mile when they need it most.
The run-up to Pippa’s birthday is incredibly difficult and filled with so many emotions. But as a family, we feel incredibly proud that we can channel some of that pain into something positive — raising awareness, supporting other families and raising funds in memory of our beautiful girl.
This yearly birthday event means that, every year, Pippa’s name is spoken. Every year, more people hear about our girl. Every year, her memory continues to make a difference. And most importantly, she is never forgotten.
Her life may have been far too short, but her legacy continues to grow, and today was such a beautiful reminder of just how much love there is for our Pippa. 🦋💗
