Today we came together to share oranges, start conversations, and take a moment to connect
It was wonderful to see so many people chatting and laughing,.
And even if the conversation started with “what are the oranges for?!” it all led toconnections and smiles 😊
Sometimes, it’s the simplest things, that can make the biggest difference.

At LifeTime Warrington , we're proud to bring people together through activities that promote friendship, connection and support.

One of those activities is our Veterans Breakfast Club, where we've had the pleasure of getting to know Joseph Smith, who is about to begin an exciting new chapter.

Joseph will soon be leaving his home in Warrington to move to The Royal Hospital Chelsea, where he will join the community of retired veterans as a Chelsea Pensioner, proudly wearing the iconic red uniform.

Having served 26 years and 292 days in the Army, Joseph went on to enjoy a successful career in road safety before retiring to Warrington to be closer to his family. He is looking forward to this next stage of life and all that it brings.

Whilst we'll miss Joseph at our Veterans Breakfast Club, we're incredibly proud to see him take this next step and wish him every happiness in his new home. We look forward to seeing him back in Warrington wearing his impressive red uniform.

Please join us in wishing Joseph the very best of luck as he begins this exciting new chapter.

We’re celebrating the incredible people who give their time to support others in our community. Our volunteers make a real difference every day, bringing kindness and support to all our Lifetime members.
Whether it’s helping at sessions, welcoming new members, or running our café, we couldn’t do it without them.
