Last Monday was our AGM. To make it more interesting Anja told us about her amazing time climbing Kilimanjaro(19,341 feet!) earlier this month. Here are some of her pictures.
Not to be out done our scouts told their story of their Expedition Challenge. 3 days of walking over Winter Hill, 30 K with packs, cooking on tranjas and putting up tents in the dark. See some of their pictures.

Tonight’s meeting involved lots of cooking, we broke a few eggs to make delicious omelets, bacon sandwiches on another stove and noodles galore outside on the trangia.

Oliver, Jack, Isaac, Freddie, Bobby, Jonas and Walter will soon be taking on the 19th Warrington Scouts Expedition Challenge.
3 days of walking, over 30 K long, over 650 metres in height gain and carrying their, kit, food, tents and equipment!
To gain their Scout Expedition Challenge Badge they need to navigate the 3 day route, find 20 locations and photograph them and then do a presentation to scouts about the expedition.
Great scouts, up for a great scouting challenge.

Scouts got to put up tents and boil some water for brew or hot cordial today… all did a great job… they’ll be ready to camp and cook for themselves in no time.

It’s over and out for scouts for the summer holidays 🏖️☀️

Have a great time and see you all in September - we’ve had a blast and it’s truly an honor for us leaders to watch you all grow, learn and take responsibility for yourselves.
