๐ŸŒŠ World Ocean Day 2026 ๐ŸŒŠ

On World Ocean Day, we celebrate the vast oceans that cover more than 70% of our planet and support life on Earth.

You might wonder what oceans have to do with tigers.

The answer is simple: everything in nature is connected.

Healthy oceans help regulate our climate, produce oxygen, absorb carbon dioxide and support the natural systems that forests, wildlife and people depend upon. From the deepest oceans to the forests of India where wild tigers roam, every ecosystem plays a vital role in maintaining the balance of life on our planet.

At Tigers4Ever, we work to protect tiger habitats, restore forests and support local communities, because we know that conservation is about safeguarding the entire environment, not just a single species.

This World Ocean Day, let's remember that protecting our planet starts with understanding that every action matters. Whether it's reducing plastic waste, supporting conservation projects or making sustainable choices, we all have a role to play.

Together, we can help create a healthier future for our oceans, our forests and the wildlife that depends on them.

๐ŸŒ World Environment Day ๐ŸŒ

Today, we celebrate the incredible natural world that sustains all life on Earth.

For wild tigers, a healthy environment is not a luxury, it is a necessity. Every forest protected, every water source restored, and every tree planted helps create a safer future for these magnificent animals and the countless other species that share their habitat.

At Tigers4Ever, we work alongside local communities in India to protect and restore vital tiger habitats. From planting native trees and creating waterholes to supporting anti-poaching patrols and reducing human-wildlife conflict, every action helps build a stronger future for both people and wildlife.

The survival of wild tigers depends on the health of our environment. When we protect forests, we protect biodiversity, combat climate change, safeguard water supplies, and give endangered species a chance to thrive.

This World Environment Day, let's remember that every positive action, no matter how small, can make a difference.

Together, we can create a world where wild tigers continue to roam free for generations to come.

A truly beauty book. Many of our trustees purchased copies.

Whilst leading our photography tour in Bandhavgarh National Park in April I was finally able to present a copy of the Remembering Tigers book (in which I was honoured to have my image featured on the front cover) to our long term driver Mukesh Shukla.

I could not have achieved this cover shot without the expert positioning and help of Mukesh, and so it was absolutely lovely to be able to present this book to him as a thank you, and knowing his passion for tigers ๐Ÿ…โค๏ธ๐Ÿ…

Happy 100th birthday to the wonderful Sir David Attenborough. Thank you for your decades of work to advocate for our planet and wildlife. In particular for your spectacular narration of natural history documentaries, including Dynasties - Tiger Episode (2018) which features tigress Raj Bhera in Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve struggling to protect her cubs while her adult daughter, Solo, challenges her territory. Life is the wild is rough but always worth protecting and fighting for.

Stunning photos of beautiful Bandhavgarh.
