What a day! 😍🥾⛺️

All teams are safely into Basecamp after an incredible first day of Cheshire Hike 2026. 👏

There are plenty of tired legs tonight, but also lots of smiles, stories and a huge sense of achievement after everything they’ve covered today.

The evening is now well underway, with food, a silent disco and an outdoor cinema before hopefully getting some well-earned rest ready to do it all again tomorrow! 💪👣

A huge well done to every single team, and to the army of volunteers who’ve helped make Day One happen. 💚

Sleep well, hikers. Day Two awaits! 🌙⛺️
