Today we have been out delivering our special memory bears, one of our visits was to Moya Cole Hospice, Greater Manchester. Our bears were very much welcomed by all the staff, knowing what a help they will be to families of the patients in Moya Cole hospice.
We are so grateful for everyone’s support to help us keep getting our special bears into all the hospitals & hospices.

We are very proud to say our bears are now in the neonatal intensive care unit in Preston hospital! Once again none of this would be possible without the help from you all so thankyou again for helping us make a difference one bear at a time!!

Today we were out delivering our special bears, and once again we visited Warrington Hospital—this time to the children’s A&E department.

It’s a place no family ever wants to be, and sadly, not every child makes it beyond those doors. In moments like these, something as simple as one of our bears can bring a small sense of comfort, love, and support when it’s needed most.

Knowing that our bears may help families through such unimaginable times reminds us why we do what we do.

This week we have delivered more of our special memory bears to ARROWE PARK HOSPITAL in the Wirral, they are now in place in the high dependency unit.

Another great day delivering our special bears to St. Rocco's Hospice ❤️💚🐻

Thank you to Abel's Wish who visited us recently to deliver bears and hearts to the hospice to be used for our Memory Bears 🐻

Staff Nurse, Emily, introduced these Memory Bears to offer comfort and connection for loved ones at St. Rocco’s Hospice, and they have been a meaningful way to support families during difficult times 💚

What a Fantastic Friday we delivered 120 bears between Salford royal critical care.
Newborn intensive care unit, supportive & palliative care unit at the Manchester Royal Infirmary. All the staff we met today were so pleased to have our special bears in place, so they can help families at such difficult times.

Oliver Abel’s wish was invited to give a talk at Bolton university hospital today. The event was attended by Jilly and Nicola from OAW and 15 members of staff from the critical care units. Great to see so many people wanting to find out more about the work we are doing here at OAW.
