We are excited to launch the new Warrington Time to Change Hub.
Working with local organisations and local Champions with a lived experience, the Warrington Time to Change Hub aims to help change the way people think and act about mental health in their communities.
Using local campaigns, events and activities, Time to Change Champions will work to challenge stigma and discrimination around mental health.
Warrington Time to Change Hub is led by Warrington Speak Up, in partnership with Warrington Borough Council, and is based at the Speak up office located in the Gateway Resource Centre.
Talking about mental health is vital in breaking down stigma. Despite the progress made we know that many people still don’t consider that mental health is relevant to them. This is something we want to challenge.
If you live or work in Warrington and you have a lived mental health experience, then we want to hear from you. We want to grow the number of Time to Change champions so that we can positively engage with our local communities.
