WireZ The Warrington Wolves Charitable Foundation is a sporting charity at the heart of the community. Wir They look to continue this work in Kenya in 2018.

The Young Trustees were set up in 2009 to bring a youth presence into the Foundation and its work. Since its establishment, the group has been awarded Community Impact Awards through local award schemes and its members been awarded high Sheriffs Awards due work completed within the County. The Young Trustees has also expanded its work, attending 2 Peer Education trips to The Gambia in West Africa

developing the local community through education, health and sports. Its members have completed Heart Start First Aid, CEOP, disability awareness and mental health awareness training. Using these skills the Young Trustees had created multiple events which led to young people positively impacting the local community from the training the group has provided.

Our Story

The Young Trustees were set up in 2009 to bring a youth presence into the Foundation and its work. The Young Trustees has also expanded its work, attending 2 Peer Education trips to The Gambia in West Africa developing the local community through education, health and sports. Its members have completed Heart Start First Aid, CEOP, disability awareness and mental health awareness training. Using these skills the Young Trustees had created multiple events which led to young people positively impacting the local community from the training the group has provided.

In June 2018, the Young Trustees travelled over 6,000 miles and 27 hours to Magadi, Kenya to work with The Memusi Foundation. During the trip, the group ran many activities in the school and visited the local church.
