A truly memorable Day on Saturday courtesy of St Germaine Lodgec 566 UGLE and a day that will be long remembered.
Our wonderful hard working Treasurer has been given the unfortunate news that there is little more that medicine can do for his Cancer. A hugely respected and key member of 295 and one of the biggest characters you could meet.
Brian has always taken life head-on and decided he was going to have a living wake where he lives in Selby. St Germain Lodge in Selby were fantastic and laid on a super day (and evening) much joy, much laughter, a few tears. But most of all a fantastic memory for us all and a lesson in dealing with the most difficult of circumstances.
An amazing turnout from both 295 and local Masonic Lodges. Along with a tremendous £1100+ raised for 566 Almoners fund through the raffle
We hope that Brian will continue to fight the good fight and will be with us for many years to come, not least of all so we can get together and do this again.
