Active last sessions across Beavers, Cubs and Scouts last week.
Beavers had a choice of different activities to do, Cubs enjoyed an outside game of ‘Cub’ as did the Scouts.

This week Beavers carried on with badge work and had fun planting some cress seeds. Let’s hope they grow 🌱
Cubs continued working on badge work looking at different birds and made some colourful birds to take home. Well done guys great work 👏

Last night our Beaver & Cub packs were excited to welcome Elisha with her pet menagerie, which included insects, gastropods, lizards, snakes and a hamster!

The children were able to handle the animals & learn a little about each one. Even Ahmeek, Keo & Rainbow got to hold the Royal Python. 🐍

Thank you to Elisha-Kate Hargreaves from PetPals Pawfect Grooming for bringing the animals along to meet us ⚜️🐍🦎. We are hoping to invite her back again soon to meet the Scouts ⚜️

3 Scouts and 1 guest Scout took up the challenge of a memorial 10 mile hike . Meeting up with 1st Mortimer Scout Group and several other Scout Groups taking part the challenge was on. Out of 14 teams on the 10 mile hike section our Scouts came 5th completing the route in just over 3 hours. Not bad at all for hiking in an unknown area. Well done guys we are super proud of you all! 👏

⚜️Welcome back everyone
This week we are concentrating on Beaver Seasons badge so looking at ‘Spring’. We had some lovely colourful tissue hyacinths made tonight.
Cubs have taken part in planting some broad beans 🫘 tonight to take home and look after. 🌱 All very busy!
