Wargrave Festival

Wargrave Festival In 2026, we will bring you a celebration to remember! It makes an invaluable contribution to the cementing of Wargrave's esprit de corps."

The Festival, hailing from modest beginnings in the summer of 1975, has grown to offer a staggering array of social and cultural entertainment every other year since. The Festival, which was inspired by the Vicar, the late Revd John Ratings, was first held in the summer of 1975 and has been held every other year since. From relatively modest beginnings, it has become the most wide ranging Wargrave

social drawing together the whole village community in two weeks of non stop activities, to which almost all local societies play their part. Please have a look at the events and join us in what is by far the biggest community festival for miles and miles around. You will find there is something for everyone of any age to make the partying truly all inclusive. The committee is enthusiastic and they, as well as the contributing village organisations, are already working very hard to make this one a corker. It has been said many times before: the festival is by the people of Wargrave, for the people of Wargrave. Let's soak up that summer of love feeling this year!

โœจVoulez-vous danser under the stars? โœจ

The Festival's ABBA Night, organised by and in support of Camp Mohawk, is GOING AHEAD.

Our Super Troupers have made some modifications to take account of the soaring temperatures with increased water stations, more breaks, plenty of seating and a re-imagined marquee so you can dance in the shade outside and then under the stars!

As well as the usual bar there will be bespoke ABBA cocktails as well as plenty of non-alcoholic options to keep refreshed - themed mocktails, a range of 0% drinks (including prosecco, G&T and Peroni) and soft drink options. As well as plenty of water - bring your water bottle to refill.

We're all looking forward to a Summer Night ๐–ขฬถ๐—‚ฬถ๐—ฬถ๐—’ฬถ Village to remember! Doors open 6.30pm.

What a brilliant night at Ibiza Classics on Friday! ๐ŸŽถโœจ

The atmosphere was electric, and it was wonderful to see so many people enjoying themselves. On top of that, we raised a significant amount of money for the Robert Piggott Schools.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, supported, performed, volunteered, and helped make this wonderful community event such a success.

Donโ€™t forget to bring any pre-loved handbags to donate to Love Grace, helping women in need. There is no need to fill the bags with anything, although additional donations of toiletries (no sanitary items) are welcome.

Tickets (ยฃ12.50) available on the door and include glass of fizz and a goodie bag.

Wargrave Literary Festival tonight- a really interesting event featuring interviews between Suzanne O'Sullivan and Tom Whipple and Ellie Levenson, interviewed by Scott Pack.
Besides the interviews there were elegant stalls of handicrafts, art, clothing and food. Well done Liz Wyld and team!
