The Festival, hailing from modest beginnings in the summer of 1975, has grown to offer a staggering array of social and cultural entertainment every other year since. The Festival, which was inspired by the Vicar, the late Revd John Ratings, was first held in the summer of 1975 and has been held every other year since. From relatively modest beginnings, it has become the most wide ranging Wargrave
social drawing together the whole village community in two weeks of non stop activities, to which almost all local societies play their part. Please have a look at the events and join us in what is by far the biggest community festival for miles and miles around. You will find there is something for everyone of any age to make the partying truly all inclusive. The committee is enthusiastic and they, as well as the contributing village organisations, are already working very hard to make this one a corker. It has been said many times before: the festival is by the people of Wargrave, for the people of Wargrave. Let's soak up that summer of love feeling this year!
