Well… that was magic. ✨
Our first Wild & Wiser community walk happened last night and somehow we landed the most beautiful evening of the year so far.
13 women.
Some strangers.
Lots of laughter.
Deep chats.
Sea air.
Sunset skies.
Dogs.
Zero awkwardness.
We walked and talked about life, work, family, burnout, dreams, reinvention and everything in between.
No agenda.
No networking energy.
Just women connecting honestly in nature.
And honestly? It felt really special. 💚

Last night was a bit special. 💚

A few weeks ago I thought it might be nice to organise some local walks for women curious about Wild & Wiser to connect before the festival.
I had no idea our first one would land on the most glorious evening of the year so far.
Over a dozen women turned up at Southbourne beach. Some knew each other, many didn’t. Within minutes there was warmth, laughter, honesty and that lovely feeling of people just being completely themselves.

We walked, talked and watched the sunset. Conversations flowed between life, work, family, burnout, reinvention, dogs, joy and everything in between.
No awkward networking.
No forced fun.
Just kind women connecting in nature.
Teachers, coaches, marketers, acupuncturists, bankers… all very different, but all drawn to the same thing: fresh air, community and real human connection.
Mother Nature absolutely showed off for us too. 🌅

After a hectic week building the festival, along with juggling work that pays the bills and all the usual family living 🤪
I took a couple of hours today to slow down, connect with a good friend and experience the new sauna house at Boscombe and it was lush!

I’d initially been hesitant about the size of it, but the whole set up was stunning, the atmospheric sky today really added to the experience and a pair of gorgeous friends also joined us unexpectedly.
Definitely one to add to the list for future Wild & Wiser adventures.
