💜 A few hours can change a family’s future 🧡 Join our volunteer team and help every child get the best possible start in life.

Home-Start Elmbridge is recruiting Home-Visiting and Groups Volunteers to support local parents and young children through challenging times.

By sharing your parenting experience, offering practical and emotional support, and helping families feel less isolated, you can make a real difference in your community.

🗣️ We are especially keen to hear from volunteers who speak additional languages, helping us better reflect and support the diverse families we work alongside.

📅 Volunteer Preparation Course starts Tuesday 5th October at our offices in Walton 9.30am – 1pm for 6 weeks (break for half term).

Happy had a traumatic birth, she didn't think anyone was coming to help her and her poorly daughter Ocean, but Home-Start Horizons gave the support and strength she needed. Most of all, she was given hope that they were going to be okay and found her joy again.

💬 THE SURREY DAD CHAT IS COMING! 💙

We’re excited to announce the launch of The Surrey Dad Chat – a new space for dads across Surrey to have real conversations about being a dad, whatever stage of fatherhood they’re at.

The Surrey Dad Chat has been made possible through a fantastic partnership between The Secret Dad Club and Men's Pitstop Blair Parrott, coming together with a shared aim: to make it easier for dads to connect, talk and access support.

🎥 Join us for a relaxed 30-minute monthly YouTube Live, where we’ll talk honestly about fatherhood, wellbeing and everyday life.

Each month, we’ll explore a different theme – from work and family life to relationships, mental health, finding time for yourself and the things nobody tells you about being a dad.

👋 Want to join the conversation? Turn your camera on and get involved.

☕ Prefer to listen? Keep your camera off, grab a brew and listen. No pressure. No judgement.

🎥 Can’t make it live? Don’t worry – sessions will be recorded so you can catch up later, with shorter clips shared across our social media.

Dads of all ages and at every stage of fatherhood are welcome.

👉 Subscribe to the Surrey Dad Chat YouTube channel and be ready to join us for the first live chat: https://www.youtube.com/

We’re really proud to be working in partnership to create something by dads, for dads – because sometimes you just need a place to sit down, grab a brew and talk.

☕ Grab a brew. Join the chat. Let’s talk about being a dad.
