Women's Tuesday 8th September 2026. Join us for a creative session on Tuesday from 10am until 12pm where we will try out 'quilling'. Quilling is a creative way of using curled paper shapes to make decorative images for cards or pictures. Some of us will be finishing off the Women's Tuesday Banner project as well, so come and join in the fun, there's something for everyone. It's free, friendly and you don't need experience.

We are super excited to bring back First Songs to Caldmore Community Garden, with our first session with B’Opera this Friday!

We have been successful with our funding application to Youth Music’s Trailblazer Fund which supports organisations to create more opportunities for children and young people to experience music, creativity and play.

We are delighted that we will not only be continuing our partnership with B’Opera, but also working in partnership with The Parakeet Studio, a collaborative multi-artform practice that brings creativity, play and nature connection into family-focused projects, putting children’s ideas and experiences at the heart of their work.

Bring along your under 4s to Caldmore Community Garden, every Friday from 10:30am until 12pm and join us for a morning of music, play and plenty of smiles, followed by a warm cup of tea and a chance to catch up with our families.

We’re incredibly grateful to B’Opera, The Parakeet Studio and Youth Music for supporting First Songs and helping us create a space where little ones can sing, play, explore, be creative and connect with nature and their community.

We can’t wait to see you all again!

Caldmore Tots is back!

Join us for Caldmore Tots, our free and friendly parent and toddler group, every Thursday from 10:30am until 12pm at Caldmore Community Garden.

We’ll be getting stuck in with sensory play and, giving little ones plenty of opportunities to explore, touch and discover. We’ll also be heading out on a fruit-picking adventure around the garden, collecting some of our lovely apples and pears and, of course, getting to taste what we’ve picked!🍎🍐

Bring your under-5s along for a morning of play, exploration and outdoor fun, while you connect with other parents and families in the community.

The best part? It’s completely free and there’s no booking needed!⭐️

We’d love to see you there!

Join us this Saturday for a fun and messy creative session as we make our very own paper mache mushrooms!

Let’s get our hands messy with PVA glue, paint and plenty of creativity as we transform simple materials into our very own funky fungi. Children can get creative, experiment with colours and designs, and make their own mushroom to take home.

A fun opportunity to get creative, enjoy some hands-on making and spend time together in the garden.

Book your 1-hour slot between 11am and 2pm this Saturday by filling out the registration form. Register here: https://forms.gle/Ryxk7zp183U1xavw8

We look forward to seeing you at the garden!

Happy September!

We hope everyone has had a lovely and enjoyable summer break!

Why not start September by joining us for our W**d on Wednesday session at Caldmore Community Garden?

There’s lots to enjoy around the garden at this time of year, with beautiful flowers still in bloom and plenty of colour to brighten up the space. We’ve also had a lovely new addition to our Sensory Garden — our new Rainbow Pergola!

Come along from 10am until 12pm and help us w**d, tidy and maintain the garden, helping to keep this special community space looking beautiful for everyone to enjoy.

No gardening experience is needed — just come along, get stuck in and enjoy some time outdoors. You can also enjoy a hot cup of tea or coffee and a chat with other members of our garden community while you work.

Everyone is welcome, and we’d love to see you there!

Women's Tuesday, 2nd September - We'll be putting together our Women's Tuesday Banner after having a break from sewing for the last few weeks. We're back to our usual slot of 10am until 12 every Tuesday for some crafting and creating. It's free and friendly so just turn up and join in. We'll be finishing this beautiful banner, designed by members of the Women's Tuesday group to hang at our Garden stall at our community events.

Our Summer Playscheme has come to a brilliant end, and what a fantastic summer it’s been!

From exploring nature and discovering the world of Forest School, to creative activities, gardening, campfires, outdoor games and plenty of fun, we’ve packed the summer with adventures. We’ve been on bumblebee safaris, learned about climate change, discovered the creatures living in our pond and gone on bug hunts around the garden with Fiona and Albert. We’ve roasted marshmallows around the campfire, got creative, played together and made lots of wonderful memories along the way.

A huge thank you to all the children who made the summer so special, and to all the parents and families and our team of volunteers for your continued support. We’d also like to say a big thank you to The National Lottery Community Fund for helping make our Summer Playscheme possible.

The garden will be open for public use again from Monday 24th August, Monday–Friday, 10am–4pm, as usual. You are welcome to come and play in the garden!

Thank you for an amazing summer — we’ve loved having you at the garden!

Women's Tuesday 25 August - Carloyn Morton (Camo) will lead this fascinating and creative session from 10am until 12pm where we will be creating a portrait of plants in the garden using cyanotypes, anthotypes and shadow painting. Carolyn's practice is rooted in process led, restorative making to reignite a relationship with the natural world. She works with wild plants from her semi-wild allotment which is her research site, studio and materials source.

Our Women's Tuesday sessions are free and friendly and we like to 'just have a go' - no experience necessary - just a positive attitude!
