Welcome to Cubs Ethan ! 🥳👏

Cubs started with Ethan swimming up from Beavers, welcome.
We then made spaghetti towers to see who could get the tallest - blue six won. Measured precisely against Little Sam’s leg ! 🗼🍝
We also celebrated our flag rope being moved to the other wall ! Thanks Big Sam. Very confusing for Hathi after 30years standing the other side !! 🤣
But Ekas did an excellent job of breaking the flag for her first time ! 🇬🇧🥳

Tonight Beavers talked about fair trade along with lots of environmental associations, we tried fair trade chocolate and rainforest alliance bananas.
We discussed why animals are endangered and pretended to be some of them and decorated a mask to take home.
And at the end so his explorer brother could watch, George made his promise, welcome to Beavers George

Today with the Squirrels we listened to “the runaway dinner” (one of Helen favourites ☺️) matched some seeds to their fruit/vegetables, made bird feeders to take home and then played rabbit tails! 😊🐿️

We also welcome Noah as he made his promise and said goodbye to Rose as she’s moving to Beavers, we wish you all the best!! It’s been amazing having you in Squirrels!! 😊🐿️🦫

Walsall Scouts
We had such a great day at the District Beaver birthday party. We went pond dipping, bug hunting, made bug hotels, made a stick man house, made the scout sign from conkers, sticks and feathers, went orienteering, grass sledging and on the pedal cars. We tried our hand at circus skills, drew maps, played games, went to the shop, sang happy birthday, made new friends, saw some old ones, and had a silent disco.
