Beavers finished the term by litter picking on route to the playground, we then had an ice cream from the ice cream van, followed by a play on the playground, and most Beavers were awarded several badges.
Sadly we said Goodbye and good luck to Matvii who will be moving to a new scout group.

Last scouts for the summer. We went to the gym and park, ate ice cream and planned an Expedition. Thanks for the lovely cards and gifts much appreciated.
We said a fond farewell to one of our scouts we have had since beavers as he is moving area.
See you all in Sept or at the Kandersteg festival on August 8th.

Today with the Squirrels we had a party session celebrating our last day before summer holidays 😊☀️🐿️!
We also celebrated Ethan and Josiah for their birthdays and gave some squirrels some well deserved badges! 😊🐿️
Also big thank you to Abi for joining Squirrels as our young leader 😊🐿️👍🏻!

For our final night at explorers we made pizzas !!
Dan kindly bought in his pizza oven. They chose their own toppings. Some strange combinations but there we go.

Cubs played games tonight after Haaniya made her promise, well done
We started with trying to extinguish each others candles inside as the wind kept blowing them out ! and then played hide and seek.

Well done to the 9 young people and 5 leaders who were able to get to church parade this morning.
We learnt about growth of God's love, growing from a seed, this was acted out fantastically by 3 volunteers

Scouts had a very random unexpected chat with White watch tonight. They had come to tell people all about the dangers of swimming in lakes and they ended up giving Scouts a guided tour of the truck. Thanks Whitewatch from Walsall Fire Station
Then we did some teamwork games and played with the parachute
