Congrats to , one of our wonderful creatives who has taken space on hoardings as part of our most recent creative spotlight!

SoundMuse draws on physics, biology and anthropology, combining detailed scientific research with specially created music and visual art. Through this multi-faceted approach, a deeper insight can be gained into the sound of nature and ultimately, the nature of sound itself. Using sound and vibration as a starting point, various unusual scientific processes, such as cymatics and harmonography, are used to visualise sound waves. These are combined with photography, videography and sonic composition to create visual art. SoundMuse is fascinated by the multitude of patterns and forms that emerge in various materials when sound is passed through them and how these are echoed throughout the natural world.

Urban Hax CIC is inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced café and hospitality operators to deliver and manage the café concession within The Guildhall Walsall — a landmark Grade II* listed building currently being transformed into a major new Creative Industries Hub opening in 2026.

This is a unique opportunity to establish a café within a high-profile town centre destination with:

Great to see this success story from one of our training sessions at Bloxwich Launchpad!

Lareve always thought starting a business wasn’t possible for her 🚀

As a carer and sole parent, she had the dream, but not the time or confidence to make it happen.

After seeing one of our posts about free training, she decided to give it a go. With support from Urban Hax, she learned how to use our dye sublimation equipment. “I amazed myself at what I could create,” she says.

She used her own designs to print mugs and signed up for her son’s school Christmas market… and sold every single item. “I still get teary eyed now thinking about it. I completely sold out of MY mugs? Unbelievable.”

Since then, she’s traded at four markets, launched her own website and built her social media presence. You can now find her at The Mug Babe 💛

In her own words: “This is a space that IS for me. This is an idea that can EASILY become reality with the help on offer from the Launchpad.”

We spent this morning enjoying the sunshine we’ve had over at Goscgote Greenacres Community Garden prepping and weeding the bed ready for our farming robot! .bot

We can’t wait to get our Farm Bot active in the coming months and we think it’ll be a great asset to the site!🌱

The Guildhall Incubation Programme is now LIVE!

We are looking for applicants for our business incubation programme for 2026. Successful applicants will benefit from business development support, mentoring sessions, Makerspace training and much more.
