🛠️ WE’RE LOOKING FOR AN: AD-HOC HANDYMAN 🛠️
Heart Care is looking for a friendly, reliable, and community-minded Handyman to help look after our unit on Portland Street, Walsall! 🏥✨This is a paid position on an ad-hoc basis.
We are a local charity dedicated to helping people in our community recover from heart and lung disease. Because we run a busy, warm, and welcoming clinic environment, we need someone who isn't just great with a toolkit, but who is also approachable and respectful of our patients and staff.
What the role involves (on a ad-hoc basis):
•🎨 Painting & decorating
•🪚 Small carpentry tasks (fixing doors, shelving, etc.)
•🚰 Minor plumbing (fixing leaky taps or unblocking sinks)
•🪧 Hanging internal signs and noticeboards
•🔧 General office repairs and building maintenance
What you’ll need to apply:
•✅ Valid Public Liability Insurance (Minimum £1 Million cover – proof of certificate required before starting).
•✅ Your own tools and reliable transport.
•✅ A friendly, professional attitude and respect for a healthcare/charity environment.
•✅ Ability to work safely and keep work areas tidy.
