We caught up with Suzanne to see how her training for the Snowdonia Fundraising Appeal is going this week. Safe to say, the miles are adding up and so are the aches!

"I wont lie it was a hard walk this week, particularly at the end following a 'thigh' Pilates session on the Thursday evening and a 3 hour tennis match on the Friday evening! However, we did a local, reasonably flat, (thank goodness) walk around Fradley, Alrewas and the National Arboretum".🚶‍♀️🌳

A massive thank you to everyone who has donated to our Snowdonia Fundraising Appeal so far. We are especially blown away by the incredible team at Watts Clift Holdings, who have just generously donated £1,000! 💥

This means our appeal has officially broken the £4,000 mark! 🎉 We are well on our way to our final target of £10k, and we couldn't do it without your amazing support.

Following the success of our team winning the PERFORM cup award, Heart Care needs your help for our upcoming PERFORM research trial starting early this June! 🏃‍♂️📋
With more people living with multiple conditions, we are researching the benefits of an exercise rehabilitation and education pathway tailored just for you.

The Details:
• An 8-week program featuring twice-weekly exercise & education sessions (Tuesdays & Thursdays, 1–3 PM).
• The Setup: It’s an RCT, meaning participants are randomly assigned to either the exercise group or the control group.
• Who: Anyone 18+ with 2+ health conditions (who hasn't done cardiac/pulmonary rehab in the last 6 months).

Our first group saw amazing improvements in fitness and overall well-being. The trial ends in October, so don't wait to reach out!

🏔️ SNOWDONIA TREK UPDATE! 🏔️

Our amazing trekker Suzanne has taken her training international during a recent visit to the South of France!

"Well, I've now taken the training for Snowdon to France! Luckily, the day started off cooler so we were able to enjoy the walk without getting too hot, although it was getting hotter by the end. In order to cool down we had to stop off at a local bar in Najac! Thanks to my new training buddies, Simon and Inga.

The walk was beautiful and had a wooden hut toilet en route! 😂"

We are incredibly grateful to absolutely everyone for your incredibly generous donations so far. Thanks to you, we are almost at the £3k mark and well on our way to our ultimate £10k target! 🎯

We are thrilled to announce that this year’s Heart Care Sponsored Walk is at the beautiful Chasewater Country Park.

Whether you are walking to support a loved one, in memory of someone special, or simply to keep your own heart healthy, every step you take helps us raise vital funds for Heart Care.

⏰ Time: 10.30am start (The event finishes around 12.30pm)
