This weekend our Scouts made it up the Wrekin for an Early Summer camp.

Full of fires, shelter building and a ‘casualty’ rescue exercise🩼.
Along with bread twists, pork dinner parcels, popcorn and bacon all cooked on the fire. 🥓🔥

Our Scouts also got to have some cool training on equipment such as Saws and Axes as well as experiencing seeing a baby woodpecker in its nesting cavity🪹

We hope everyone has had a fantastic Camp! Looking forward to welcoming you all back to the Wrekin soon for SUMMER CAMP! 🏕️ ⚜️

Also tonight our Beavers have put on a small performance for their families to showcase a piece of music they have been learning as part of their Staged Music Badge.

Thank you to all our Beaver Team and young Leaders who have done a fantastic job helping get our young people ready for their presentation evening!🎼🪈

We are also very happy to welcome more to the Killock family as we have invested a few more little ones tonight! Welcome to the 3rd!

Cub Camp May 2026!🐻⛺️
What a night!
Our cubs enjoyed lots of different activities such as colouring their own camping mug, magnet fishing along with walking.
They made their own dinner and enjoyed some s’mores by the fire 🔥
Thank you to all who came and joined in as well as those who run this brilliant camp…as you can see from the last one all out kids enjoyed themselves!

We are so proud of everyone during their transition to being back on the water but also especially all those who are new to water sports and it’s their first boating season🛶⛵️

Hi My name is Amelia,

I have been a part of scouts (Sea Scout) for over a decade.
I am now a young leader assisting my unit in supporting the Squirrels and Beavers.
I was selected to attend the World Scout Jamboree as part of Unit 65 West Mercia. To attend I have to to raise £2990 this amount, not only helps me attend a once in a life time experience but also subsidises poorer scouts across the world attend as well. This opportunity will give me lots of experiences not just in attending but in the run up to it through team building, developing our unit identity and through events with my unit which all come from different troups across the black country.
I have a few different fundraising events and ideas in the pipeline.
