A selection of photos from our Wrekin Summer Camp 2026. It was definitely a busy one for our Scouts who completed a river trip 🛶 and a trip to Blists Hill Victorian Town along with all the other activities you’d expect us to get up to on camp!

It was also amazing to see the Cubs camping at the Wrekin for 1 night, busying themselves with a walk and making their own hot drinks ☕️ with the Kelly Kettle.

We also welcomed our Squirrels and Beavers for the day to experience the Wrekin, go on a walk up Little Hill 🥾and get to grips with camp fires!

Thank you to all the amazing leaders who made this possible! We hope the kids enjoyed themselves! ⚜️🏕️

Some of you may know already but one of our leaders has been completing a charity Swim on behalf of Macmillian
She’s swimming 21 miles in 2 months throughout June and July in aid of Macmillian Cancer support, every penny helps not just those fighting cancer but those who are supporting others living with it💚xx

Tara’s doing this for the millions of people living with or who have lived with cancer who deserve more but mainly her Godfather who they lost 18 months ago❤️

We hope everyone has had a wonderful year with us at the 3rd and would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has helped make this year possible.
Wishing all our Squirrels🐿️, Beavers🦫, Cubs🐻 and Scouts⚜️ a very well earned summer break but mainly for our volunteers who have worked tirelessly all year round, we wouldn’t still be here today without you!❤️

Beavers 🦫 starts back Tuesday 8th Sept 6pm - 7pm at Killock

Our Beaver colony had a sleepover⛺️6 of our brave young beavers stayed a night under canvas at Killock🦫
Followed by a night on the water along with our Squirrel’s Drey🐿️
They had a few small taster sessions in Sailing, Canoeing & Pulling⛵️🛶
We are so proud of our young minds for giving it a go!
