Wyrley Juniors Football Club

Wyrley Juniors Football Club A local football club catering for players from 3 to 65 years old of any ability. Everyone welcome.

We will have 20 girls teams, 33 boys teams, 3 men's teams, 3 Ladies teams, and 4 Disability teams next season. We also have 3 boys dev4elopment centres for boys aged 3 to 8 and 3 FA Wildcats Centres for girls aged 4 to 11 and an FA Squad Girls session for girls aged 12 to 14. In addition we will have a Just Play session for recreational football. We are the largest club in the Midlands both in a combined team basis and girls section.

The club is saddened to hear of the passing of former player Lisa Oakden.
Lisa was aged just 31 and despite a ferocious battle against cancer, she sadly lost her fight.

Lisa played for the Ladies First Team for 4 seasons and had an infectious smile, which she wore as a cover for a powerful tackle and a booming shot.

She will be sadly missed by the old management team and ex teammates.

We give our deepest condolences to Lisa’s family and friends and to her young son Phoenix.

Rest in peace Lisa.
