This is the seventh in our series themed Divine Manifestation by Holiness. The series is aimed at helping us understand how holiness is a divine requirement for divine manifestations. This session’s focus is on practical righteousness - understanding holiness in daily living. Holiness must move beyond theology into lifestyle; revelation into behaviour; and encounter into consistency. Practical righteousness is therefore the daily expression of holiness, living in alignment with God’s Word and reflecting Christ in conduct. We do not behave holy to become holy, but we live holy because we have been made holy. Hence, it is identity that produces lifestyle. We must therefore make intentional choices and conscious transformation by recognising the works of the flesh, the fruit of the Spirit and the choice to walk in the Spirit. Holiness must be in thought, words and action as we navigate relationships and our daily environments. When holiness becomes lifestyle, God’s presence becomes constant, authority becomes consistent, glory becomes evident and daily obedience produces sustained manifestation.
