We challenge barriers, change outcomes, and empower the next generation to reach their potential. Bouncing Statistics is a social impact and education organisation dedicated to transforming outcomes for young people by challenging the systems, perceptions, and statistics that too often define them. Our mission is to create a world where a young person’s background does not determine their future a
nd where every learner has access to meaningful support, opportunity, and aspiration-building pathways. We exist to “bounce statistics” by improving outcomes for young people from underrepresented and disadvantaged communities, ensuring they are supported to access education, employment, leadership, and wider life opportunities. Founded by three practitioners from inner-city Birmingham, our work is rooted in lived experience and a deep understanding of the barriers facing young people today. These include disengagement from education, SEMH needs, risk of exclusion, safeguarding concerns, and limited access to consistent relational support. What we do
Through our Alternative Provision and inclusion hub model, including our base at Eden House, we provide structured, supportive environments for young people who require additional engagement outside of mainstream education. Our services include:
* Alternative Provision & Inclusion Hub delivery
* One-to-one mentoring and targeted pastoral intervention
* Behaviour, SEMH and engagement support programmes
* Safeguarding-informed practice and DSL-aligned intervention
* Teacher CPD, behaviour support, and whole-school training
* Family support and reintegration pathways
* Employability, life skills, and progression planning
* Wellbeing and personal development sessions for staff and young people
We also support organisations and education settings with tailored interventions designed to improve behaviour, attendance, engagement, and long-term outcomes. Our approach
Our work is relational, consistent, and trauma-informed. We focus on trust-building, accountability, and long-term change rather than short-term intervention. We believe that sustainable impact comes from strong relationships, cultural understanding, and practical support that meets young people where they are. Partnerships
We work collaboratively with schools, education providers, and community organisations that share our commitment to improving outcomes for young people. Our partners include:
West Midlands Police, NHS, Right Track Sports, Vision Acting, Jamzone Academy, and Moore Knowledge.
