It was great to be at the Brownhills Summer Festival last weekend. As ever there was an array of different stalls as we all sweltered in the heat.

Thank you to Jan Davies BEM and all the staff from Brownhills Community Centre and The Lamp for once again organising the annual event on the Civic Square.

I was also pleased to catch up with Ben from the Maritime Training Corps and speak with some members of the Brownhills Community Centre Gardening Club.

I was lucky enough to come away with yet another armful of tombola prizes and another new plant. Thank you to everyone who took part.
