Looking for a different way to support Well Wishers this Christmas? 🪂🎅

This December, supporters can take on a Christmas Skydive and raise money for Well Wishers while doing something they’ll probably never forget.

There are a range of dates and airfields available, including Nottingham throughout December up to the 20th, so people can choose what works best for them.

Whether it’s a Christmas jumper or a full festive costume, it’s a fun way to do something memorable while supporting a local charity that means so much to our community.

Jane and Margaret have set up shop! 🛍️

Our lovely volunteers are just outside the Fundraising Hub today with plenty to browse. From handmade baby knits and cuddly toys to bags and little gifts.

If you’re passing through the Main Atrium, pop over, say hello and have a look. Every purchase helps support Well Wishers 💙

Thank you to Balbir Seimar for bringing in this beautiful selection of M&S flowers for us.

Balbir is a local supermarket rescuer, helping make sure surplus items such as food and flowers don’t go to waste and can instead be put to good use within the community.

We’re really grateful she thought of Well Wishers, the flowers were such a lovely donation to receive and put a smile on the faces of those that received a bunch 😊💙

When you meet up with the lovely ladies from Midcounties Co-op to tell them all about Well Wishers and come away with a completed application for a £500 Community Fund! 💙🙌

A massive thank you to them for taking the time to meet with us, hear more about the charity and for pointing us towards such a brilliant opportunity.

This October, we’re showing our support for everyone affected by breast cancer and raising funds for services here at Walsall Manor Hospital.

On 23 October, join us in the Main Atrium for our Breast Cancer Awareness fundraising day, with a cake and bake sale, refreshments, raffle prizes and tombola.

Staff can also donate £1 to wear something pink to work, with funds raised split equally between our Breast Care Team and Chemotherapy Unit.

Let’s fill the hospital with pink and show our support together 💗

Staff Halloween Bash – Cancelled 🎃

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, our Staff Halloween Bash on 31 October has been cancelled.

We’re really sorry for any disappointment and would like to thank everyone who had planned to come along and support the event.

One of the loveliest things about Well Wishers is just how many people across our community know us, support us and get behind what we do, from donating and fundraising to attending events, volunteering or simply popping into the Hub to say hello.

A huge congratulations to We’re Not Doctors, who were crowned our Well Wishers Quiz Night winners for an impressive third time in a row 👏🧠🏆

And well done to our runners up, Bucks Quiz, who gave them some strong competition.

Thanks to everyone who joined us on the night, together we raised £160 towards the new Sister Dora Suite 💙

The big question is… can anyone knock We’re Not Doctors off the top spot next time? 👀🏆

A little later than usual, but our October market stalls are here 🛍️

We’ve got another busy month in the Main Atrium, with a great mix of independent sellers joining us throughout October.

From jewellery, fragrances and crystals to bags, crafts, artwork, books and more, there’s plenty to browse, plus our Autumn Fair on 12 October 🍂
