🔨 Calling Local Tradespeople – Help Us Build Something That Matters

Self Axis Haven is developing a non-profit therapeutic and community hub in Walsall, designed to make professional support more accessible and bring services together under one welcoming roof.

As we continue transforming our building, we would love to hear from tradespeople who may be willing to volunteer their time, skills or expertise to help us move the project forward.

We are especially looking for:

* Plumbers
* Electricians
* Roofers
* Carpenters
* Painters & decorators

Whether you can offer a few hours, a day, some professional advice, materials, or practical support, every contribution could make a real difference.

💚 By helping us create this space, you’ll be supporting a hub that aims to provide therapy, wellbeing services and community support while lowering barriers to professional help for people across Walsall and surrounding communities.

🌿 FREE 4-WEEK ONLINE GROUP 🌿

We’re inviting adults in Walsall who are living with a long-term condition (LTC) to express their interest in our upcoming free 4-week online group therapy programme.

The group will introduce helpful tools based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and will be delivered by accredited CBT therapists.

To be eligible, you need to:

* Live in Walsall
* Be over 18
* Have a long-term condition
* Have access to the internet

The groups will begin in autumn/winter 2026 and spaces will be limited.

🏗️✨ BUILDING UPDATE — WE’RE MAKING SPACE FOR MORE ✨🏗️

A big step forward for Self Axis Haven CIC 💛

We’ve now successfully removed the inner wall to create a much larger, more flexible space within the building.

This new open area will give us the room we need for:

• Group therapy
• Community events
• Friday prayers
• Workshops and wellbeing projects
• Future programmes that need a larger shared space

Every stage of the renovation is helping us move closer to creating a welcoming therapeutic community hub where people can connect, learn, heal and feel supported.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our journey so far. There is still lots to do, and every share, donation and offer of support helps us continue building this space for the community. 🤍
