Today’s match was fished at Pershore RB BAA waters. It was a seriously difficult match for most with only small fish willing to feed. Well done to Andy Matejic on winning the match with 3-8-0. Andy caught a mixed bag of fish fishing shallow at 4 meters. Second on the day was Steve James with 2-14-0 and 3rd on the day was Ernest Harris with 2-5-0.

The bonus peg still hasn’t Been won and now stands at £62 and rolls onto our next match at Bromley. Well done to all that fished today.

Yesterdays’ match saw a return to Fladbury and a really low, clear river. With a few away it made for a smaller match than usual but it was still a good craic with a pint in the pub afterwards. 1st on the day and a return to fishing after his hand operation was Deano with 6-7-0. 2nd on the day was David Harley with 5-7-0 and 3rd went to Sam Handley. Well done to all that fished our next patch sees us back at pershore. And away!

Yesterdays match was another red hot day which found us at at the Jam Factory - Lower Broadheath Fishery, fishing old pool, in search of some wibbly wobbly carp. This turned out to be a totally different match to last year with a lot more small carp being caught compared to last year. A return to form saw Dan Grimmett winning the match from the middle of the near side bank with 69-12-0. Dan fished pole and secret 🤐 expander pellets. (I thought we were mates ☹️) Well done pal! Second on the day was Les Pile giving me an absolute battering off the next peg with 58-6-0. Thanks for the neck ache Les! I managed 3rd on the day with 45-12-0 just beating Sam by ounces - sorry pal. A nice pint 🍻 in the pub afterwards topped the day off. Well done to all that fished. Next match sees us back on the Avon I believe. And finally Rich Pond Mon Newell - get well soon fella. Tight lines everyone - wear sunscreen. And away!

Today’s match saw us finally back on the glorious river Severn with the venue Ladyham being a first for the club.

The pegs have been somewhat of a challenge which is unfortunate as this really could be a lovely venue. The heat and conditions haven’t helped but in all honesty it didn’t fish that bad with every one getting a few bites.

First on the day was Colin Talbot, who’s had a good day catching some clonking perch on worm and losing a load more. Well done Col! Second on the day was Alex Bennett, catching a lovely bag of roach fishing pole tactics. Third on the day was Dan Grimmett fishing feeder to catch some lovely roach on caster. Well done to all who fished and a big thanks to Deano for coming along to help with the weigh in. Also best wishes to Dave and Rich - get well soon guys 🎣

Well yesterday our match at Wilden Pool Stourport didn’t exactly go to plan. To be fair, we spent most of the day catching sunstroke! The fish were spawning all over the lake so, as expected, it made for a really tough match.

As normal Steve ‘The Method’ James won the match with four carp followed in second place by Alex Bennett who managed to mug a couple of carp on the pellet waggler. Third on the day was David Harley who sat it out on the method for one solitary carp.

We are back on the river for our next match - happy days! We go again!
