They've made it!
Well done to the team. It was a bit hard going paddling into the wind today, but Sharpness was reached.
Thank you to the staff of the Cotswold Canals Restoration Group - Saul Junction for the hospitality and support.
Thank you to all our supporters. We'll be back in April 2027.

Day 6, our last day on the river. It is now wide and deep, so no more dodging rocks. Our route took us from Upton Marina to Gloucester Docks. Last day today, down the canal to Sharpness. Give us a wave if you're around.

It's moving day for the Severn Challenge, both down the river and to new overnight accommodation. Thank you to Stiperstones Methodist Church for the last four nights. We're now at Malvern Baptist Church UK for two nights. Today's photos focus on the Wallingford & Didcot Boys' Brigade contingent, each of whom added 19 miles to their total and have so far paddled 74 miles.
We were also donated a canoe today! Thank you to Tony's Restaurant (first coffee stop for the support crew) and High Town Grill in Bridgnorth.

Day three was a day of bridges! We started from just underneath the historic bridge at Atcham and continued through the Ironbridge Gorge, under its many bridges, including the first Iron Bridge.

Another sunny day and another 20 miles under our belts. Not so much winding around fallen trees today, but the low water is still adding to the fun.
We head through the Ironbridge gorge next.

Day one of the Severn Challenge done.
There's not been much rain recently, so the river was low. This did make the paddle more interesting though as there were more riffles than wet years.
