Follow us for up-to-date information on what’s happening near you. FYT is a Wirral-based charity, working with parents, carers and their children between the ages of 0–5 years. As a parent/carer, there’s lots of evidence to show that what you do with your little ones in the first five years can set them up well for life. However, we also know children don’t come with a manual and that they grow up

quickly! We run fun weekly groups for parents/carers, babies and toddlers up to 3 years. Each week we explore fun and different ways parents/carers can support baby’s learning and development. We also support schools and early years settings using an evidence-based method of engaging parents in their children’s learning. Little Explorers is for parents and children together and is open to all nursery parents, throughout the academic year.

For our under‑2s, books are an adventure! They’re for touching, listening, moving and exploring through play together!

This year’s theme is “Go All In” ✨
So we’re diving right in & all week we will be turning pages, exploring textures, making sounds, singing stories and sharing lots of fun, themed activities with you all 💛 by linking stories to the things our little explorers already love 🫶

Tomorrow we begin Early Explorers – Sensory Play, Meaningful Moments

A peaceful weekly space for babies, toddlers and their grown‑ups.
Expect relaxing sensory play, baby massage or yoga tailored to your child, plus a cosy story and some singing to bring everyone together.

Early Explorers: Tiny Hands, Creative Minds
Messy play sessions, with lots of smiles!

Our new 6‑week block for parents with under 2s starts this week, and we can't wait to welcome you and your little ones. Each week we’ll explore a different theme through simple, hands‑on play, from oats to jelly, movement to music, and lots of opportunities to get stuck in (literally!).

You can expect:
🎨 Messy play that’s fun, low‑pressure and great for development
📚 A cosy story each week
🎶 Songs and scrunchie fun!
👐 Simple craft keepsakes
👶 Activities suitable for babies and toddlers

No need to prepare anything — just come as you are (messy clothes encouraged!).
