Wallasey WI We are the Wallasey WI, a community based organisation for women in the UK.

We meet on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 7.30 in Claremount Methodist Church Hall, Sandy Lane, Wallasey, CH45 3 JY.

We had a fantastic evening on Wednesday when the North West First Responders came to talk to us. Thanks to Josh, Robin and Andy.

Here are the details of next month's groups:
- Scrabble at Margaret's Tuesday 2nd June
- Lunch at The Nelson 12-30 17th June
- Book club at Nanette's Friday 26th June
VERY IMPORTANT:
Our Summer Garden Party (and July meeting) is at Nanette's at 3pm on Wednesday 24th June. Nanette will be providing strawberries and cream, plus tea and coffee. Could members bring something else to contribute? It might be helpful if you brought the same thing as you did for the Butterfly Bake - at least stuck to a sweet or savoury item so that we have a variety of both. Thanks. Jackie

Lovely social evening on Wednesday evening with fantastic food from all our members towards the Claire House Butterfly bake. Also a reminder of all our events for May;
- Monday 11 May 12pm Lunch at the Derby Pool
- Friday 15 May 2.30pm Book Club
- Friday 22 May 2.30pm Craft Group
- The Walking Group attend a walk every Tuesday 10.30am. If you're interested in joining us, please contact Jackie.

Some members of the Wallasey WI attended our sister group Leasowe's winter warmer last night. Very substantial fish and chip supper and dessert provided by the Committee and entertainment afterwards by the musical group, 'The Home Birds.'
Also I forgot to mention that we had a lovely lunch at the Refreshment Rooms on Monday February 2nd. We were a bit thin on the ground this time around but still a lovely lunch!
