I am super impressed with two of our learners who have recently moved from our HUB to our HIVE; they have smashed it.

Look at their cooking skills to match!

Our HUB site went to salford museum today to build upon their topic work!

The young man that arrived at Life Lodge two years ago has just played a show to around 300 people as part of his mainstream college placement. We are super proud of how far he has come and how many barriers he keeps smashing! Keep being you.

Just a small snippet of the work our young people have been completing this week.

Aside from the various vocational activities seen here we have also been exploring 'Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde' as GCSE prep for English, recapping our skills with the basic operations in Maths and had a visit from Emma from Lance Burn Medical Centre to explore sexual health.

All that and it's only Wednesday 😅

Second week back and watersports are underway!

Water safety is so important for our young people to learn, not all education takes place in a classroom!

Just look at this years qualifications 2025 - 2026.

We genuinely couldn’t be prouder of our young people and everything they have achieved throughout the 2025/26 academic year. 🩶

For many of our young people, the journey to this point hasn’t been easy. Some have missed significant periods of education, faced personal challenges, experienced difficult circumstances and struggled to find a place where they feel understood, safe and able to learn.

At Life Lodge, we know that results are about so much more than grades and qualifications. Sometimes, the biggest achievement is walking through the door when you haven’t felt like coming in.

It’s beginning to trust an adult again.

It’s finding the confidence to have another go after believing you couldn’t.

It’s managing emotions, building relationships, developing self-belief and discovering that you can achieve things you once thought were out of reach. 🙏🏻

For young people who have faced barriers to education, every step forward matters — we are so incredibly proud of you. 🩶

Our results this year are fantastic, but what makes us most proud is the personal journey behind every single one of them.
A huge congratulations to our amazing 2025/26 cohort and to Team Life Lodge for the care, patience, encouragement and belief you show our young people every day.

We want to wish all our year 11s all the luck in the world, whether its college, an apprenticeship, or a work placement that is your next step in life - just know you are amazing!! And Life Lodge are only a call away if you ever need anything!

What a year. What a team. What an incredible group of young people. 👏🏻🌿
