Well what a fantastic day today has been, we've seen a huge turnover in flowers, veggies and seeds! We saw a large amount of growers, new and old alike and it was great speaking to everyone.

I'd like to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported this event, from LIVE Crofton Community Group who have been collecting pots at their events, Starfrost Wishes who has been growing unscrupulous amount of cuttings ready for today. A big thank you to Helen who was labelling all of the plants as and when they came in and most of all, a big thank you to Leah and Dibbs who grew most of the veggies you got today. Let's not forget about Lisa, she did a fantastic job getting those veggies ready too!

Our event would not be possible if it was not for the corporate sponsors who have supported us year after year. Our Crofton edible gardening club and Community Mini Allotments will be starting in June but we have a volunteer day this Sunday morning 26th April for anyone who wants to get involved and can help us start clearing the site ready for our polytunnel installation. We'll be there from 10 am until around noon!!
