๐ฟโจA Journey of Healing Through Art and Nature โจ๐ฟ
We are incredibly proud to showcase our powerful partnership working between Star Bereavement and Yorkshire Sculpture Park . A 10-month creative journey designed to support children, young people, and families navigating the complex path of grief and loss.
Grief can feel like a storm or a weight we carry every day. But it can also be a space for growth, reflection, and transformation especially when we are surrounded by nature, creativity, and a community.
Over the last couple of months we have begun our 10 month project, bringing together the healing opportunities of the outdoors with the freedom of art. Through sculpture, storytelling, and making, we have all worked together to create safe, nurturing spaces where children, young people and their families can explore feelings, honour memories, and begin to rebuild.
๐ณ Why nature? Being outside helps us breathe a little deeper and reminds us that change is ok, and even after the harshest of conditions, nature prevails.
๐จ Why art? Sometimes words arenโt enough. Art gives us another way that helps us say the things that are too big to say aloud.
๐ Why community? No one should have to grieve alone. This project is about connection.
Whether youโre a young person who has lost someone special, a parent supporting a grieving child, or a family looking for a place to feel held at Star Bereavement we work to deliver support tailored to support you!
