“we are doing this to raise funds for Nic, a local Latchford mum of six who is currently battling leukaemia and undergoing treatment. As you can imagine, this is an incredibly tough time for her and her family, and I want to do something to help support them.”

Meet the Royles 👑
What started as a family seeking an immediate solution to a problem that Callum had with substance, this family is now tighter than ever!

Karen reached out to me as a worried Mother in hopes that we could help Callum overcome his problem. Shortly after Callum joined, Karen also came aboard. Both of them have committed to 2 weekly PT sessions, adherence to the program and have completely shifted their lifestyles.

Just over 3 months in, Callum has run a 10k race, booked a half marathon and will be competing in a Hyrox race in July with me. Callum is also undergoing his qualification to become a PT! (What a turn around)

His Mum, Karen has also joined the race squad by entering herself and her other son Finley into the same Hyrox race.

This family is PROOF that when someone with addiction commits to recovery, the positive changes don’t just impact the person in recovery. It also impacts those around you and closest to you.

What a pleasure.
What a team.
What a family.

Reality Slap ❄️

Today someone lost their child
Today someone got diagnosed with a terminal illness
Today someone had a fatal car crash
Today someone lost their parent
Today someone starved
Today someone lost their home
Today someone lost their LIFE!

The next time you want to moan about that problem at work or that argument you had with someone. And you think “f**k it, I’ll drink or sniff my sorrows away”. Just remember, there’s someone out there that would give anything to have what you have right now. And in that moment YOU are deciding to throw all you have away.

Yes, we all have problems. But just remember that someone out there lost EVERYTHING today.

Be grateful for what you have. Don’t throw you’re life away willingly 🙏💯

People don’t always die from addiction.
Sometimes they die from feeling unwanted, unheard, abandoned, exhausted… and addiction was just the symptom nobody looked past.

Check on the strong ones.
The ones making everyone else laugh.
The ones always saying “I’m good.”

Some people are fighting battles in silence every single day.

Nothing beats being a present parent 🙏
No bank holiday hangovers here 💯
Last night me and my boy had a night of garden camping, star gazing and marshmallow toasting 🔥

This morning my son hugged me and said “I love you Dad, you know everything in the world”
2 and a half years ago, I’d probably would have still been in someone’s kitchen. And when I’d of got home he wouldn’t have looked at me.

it took a LOT of hard work to get here, but now I can finally be the Dad he and his sister deserve. 🙌🏽
