We call on the Government to replace the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) strategy with Violence Against People (VAP) strategy to ensure Government policy, funding and support protect all victims of violence, abuse and coercive control equally, regardless of s*x, based on evidence and need.

📢 We're Walking for MAN MATTERS! 💛

On Friday 25th September, the team at Thornton Jones Solicitors will be taking on a sponsored walk from our Garforth office to the MAN MATTERS office in Wakefield to raise money and awareness for our Charity of the Year, MAN MATTERS.

MAN MATTERS provides vital support for men's mental health across the Wakefield district through counselling, one-to-one support, coffee groups, and other community services.

We're inviting colleagues, clients, friends, family, and supporters to join us on the walk and help us make a difference for this fantastic local charity.

If you're unable to join us but would like to support the cause, we would be incredibly grateful for a donation. Every penny raised will go directly to MAN MATTERS and help continue the amazing work they do in our community.

We are absolutely gutted to say that, today, we say goodbye to Kerry as she leaves us for her new chapter!🥲🧑‍💻

Over 3 and 1/2 years ago, Kerry joined us as a vital member of the MAN MATTERS Project & since then has done fantastic work supporting men across the district & even become an IDVA & ISVA.

We will miss her, dearly! Not just our fab colleague, but a fab friend. Thankyou for everything you’ve done Kez, you have grown so much and we are all so proud of you!
