If you’ve been watching and waiting for news from the Lupset - Pride in Place project, then your wait is over!

The surveys are in and we have the first wave of information to share, and, thanks to the help of the amazing Gemma at The Lupset, we can share it together in a day filled with entertainment for the kids, live music, and food!

🕥💥 It’s been a busy week for Lupset - Pride in Place!💥🕥

On Friday, we had our fourth Board meeting, where investment reports and expansion were the hot topics!
At the beginning of the week, plans moved forwards to host the first “Community Pride Day” at The Lupset (Public House) - ❗️watch this space later this week for a date and time announcement❗️
And then, last night, our Deputy Chair spent time at Jubilee Hall Lupset Wakefield with some of Lupset’s very excited and motivated young people and the St George's Community Centre Youth Cafe. After a public vote, these young people will henceforth be known as “The Lupset Grand Council,” and we are very excited to have them with our youth panel!

🙀AND IT’S ONLY WEDNESDAY!🙀

🌟It’s an exciting time to live in Lupset, so keep following the socials, so keep talking about Pride in Place with your friends, family, and neighbours, and please join us for any and all opportunities to share your resident voice in person- nothing will be done for you without you!🌟

🚨 TOMORROW! 🚨

Our Deputy Chair, Georgie Darling, who some of you may know has been making friends with the Scouts, the local FCs, Guides, Majorettes and every school she can find, will be heading to Jubilee Hall Lupset Wakefield with representatives from St George's Community Centre and Central Youth Hub - Wakefield to meet as many young people as she can to find out how Lupset - Pride in Place’s £20,000,000 should be spent!!

💰💡 So, if you’re a young person with ideas and opinions, come and meet us and tell us how to spend the money! 💡💰
