150th Sheffield Scout Group

150th Sheffield Scout Group We're the 150th Scout Group from Wadsley, Sheffield. We're a very active group with two Beaver Colonies, three Cub Packs and four Scout Troops.

We've also fantastic links with Hillsborough Explorers. This page has info on our Scouting activities for Wadsley and everywhere nearby.

Thankyou to all the families and leaders who came to support our fun day. It was amazing to see so many people coming together and enjoying the sunshine and each other's company and watching children be children away from screens.
We loved watching the dad's trying to beat each other at tennis, the graveyard tig, the cakey faces, the laughter and the queues for the face painting.

WE'RE BACK! 🇸🇪✈️🇬🇧
Hillsborough Explorers/150th Young Leaders have just returned from Jamboree26, the Swedish National Scout Jamboree, held at Norra Åsum near Kristianstad in the beautiful region of Skåne.

This year's theme was Tillsammans, Together, no one is an island, and honestly, we lived it.

We attended opening and closing ceremonies with c18,000 Scouts from across the world (and King Carl XVI Gustaf) who all demonstrated what Scouting is all about, we were really together from the start.

Our young people were an absolute credit to Scouts and to Sheffield all week, confident, kind, and up for anything. We are so proud of every single one of them.

None of this happens without a brilliant team of volunteer leaders giving up their own time and holiday to make it happen, so a huge thank you to everyone involved in planning, preparing, and running this trip. You made it possible.

We would love to share Hillsborough Explorers adventures with even more young people. For this we need a team of volunteers to lead and open up another unit. Could you, and your friends give young people adventures of a lifetime?
