On 27 January, the Manchester Association for Masonic Research (MAMR) will be hosting a presentation by Tony Harvey entitled “Towards a Thriving Organisation – What Does Our Membership Data Tell Us?” at Bolton Masonic Hall.
The paper explores one of the key objectives of the Strategy Document: 2022 and Beyond. Drawing on both quantitative and qualitative membership data from across the United Grand Lodge of England, Tony examines the underlying causes of membership decline and identifies practical pathways to growth. The central finding is that retention is the critical issue, with sustainable growth depending on improved member experience, inclusion, engagement, and the modernisation of lodge management and culture.
The meeting is free, you do not need to be a MAMR member, guests can book on with the link below and submit dietary requirements (dining costs on website).
Please share to lodge membership officers or those involved in recruitment and or any masonic brethren that would find this of use.
