This weekend, we celebrated a special milestone as our Arrowe Park House marked 17 years of supporting families. ❤️

For 17 years, our House has provided a welcoming place for families to stay close to their child while they receive hospital treatment, offering comfort and support when it's needed most.

Looking back, we're incredibly proud of the thousands of families we've been able to support and the lasting impact the House has had on so many lives. That wouldn't have been possible without the dedication of our staff, volunteers, supporters and everyone who has been part of the House's story over the years.

Thank you to all those who have helped shape the past 17 years. We look forward to continuing to support families and create a place of comfort and care for many years to come. 🏠

​This December, we're delighted to invite our Arrowe Park community to a special evening of festive music at St John the Evangelist, Liverpool, in support of Ronald McDonald House UK.​

​Carols by Candlelight brings together beautiful choir performances, much-loved Christmas songs and carols, and inspiring stories from families who have found comfort and support through our Houses during some of life's most difficult moments.​

It's a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the festive season with family, friends and colleagues while helping more families stay close to their child receiving treatment at arrowe park women and children’s Hospital.

Christmas may still feel a little way off, but we're already looking ahead to the festive season and would love your help! 🎄
As we start planning our festive content, we're looking for stories from families who have stayed in a Ronald McDonald House over the last few years. These stories help us show the real impact of keeping families close during some of the most challenging times in their lives.
We're particularly keen to hear from:
Families who stayed in a House over the Christmas period
Families whose siblings were able to stay together
Families who can share how the House helped remove a practical worry during a difficult time
Families from all regions and backgrounds
The stories shared may be featured across our website and social media channels, helping us highlight the importance of our Houses and the families we support.

McHappy Day is all about supporting families with children in hospital, with £1 from selected main meals sold at McDonald's helping Ronald McDonald House Charities UK keep families close to their child when it matters most.

To mark the occasion, we'll be hosting a McHappy Day Craft Afternoon at the House from 1pm to 3pm.

Plus, our local McDonald's team will be providing some tasty treats for children attending!
