We’re so excited to share ‘I’m Gonna Be (79 Miles)’ with you! 🎶

Made in in collaboration with McDonald's and Pixie Lott, this new version represents the average 79 miles parents and carers travel to be by their child’s side in hospital. Every mile tells a story of love, strength and determination.

All proceeds from the track will go directly to Ronald McDonald House UK and Ronald McDonald House Ireland to help more families stay close to their child in hospital.

When a child is in hospital, family stays.❤️

We see it every day. Parents and carers who are exhausted, scared, hopeful, grieving and incredibly determined, often all at once. At Arrowe Park House, we stay with them.

New name, same heart. ❤️

Today, Arrowe Park House is proud to share Ronald McDonald House UK’s modernised brand.

You will notice new colours, new words and new visuals. But what matters most has not changed. Our commitment to the families in our community, and the way we support them when they need us most.

When a child is in hospital, families do not just visit. They stay. We see it every day in our House. Parents and carers who are exhausted, scared, hopeful, grieving and incredibly determined, often all at once. Our modernised brand, including our new name and look, has been shaped around that reality. It reflects the care, comfort and strength offered here by Ronald McDonald House UK and the practical and emotional support we offer that helps families stay close to their child and to each other.

"Recently, we were so happy to welcome back one of our former families. Justine, Leanne and little Posie made the journey from North Wales to come and see us, and it was lovely to have them back. 💕

Earlier this year, they stayed with us during a challenging time when their twin daughters, Nature and Moon, were born prematurely. Seeing them again and just how much the twins have grown since then is incredible.

We absolutely loved your visit. Thank you so much for coming to see us!"

This weekend, we were deeply touched by the incredible generosity of one of our past families, Emily and Rob. 💛

Emily and Rob and their daughter Ruthi stayed with us in April 2025 while their son, Micah, received care on the Neonatal Unit. Since then, they have remained part of our House community, and this weekend they went above and beyond to give back.
They organised and hosted the most beautiful charity afternoon tea, raising an amazing £2,427.13 in vital funds to support the families who rely on our House. A couple of our team members were even lucky enough to attend, and they haven’t stopped talking about how special the event was!

A huge 'thank you' to Maitland Church, who kindly opened their doors and provided such a warm and welcoming space for the event.

To Emily and Rob, and everyone who contributed, your kindness helps us continue keeping families close when it matters most. From all of us at the Arrowe Park House, thank you!

The Smiley Awards 2026 are well underway and we need your support! 🎬

Our film ‘Still Fighting: Harry’s Story’ has made it through to the second stage of this year’s Smiley Charity Film Awards. These Awards celebrate the powerful stories charities tell through film and have become the world’s biggest platform for cause based storytelling.

For six months, the Hubbard family stayed in both our Camberwell and Evelina London Houses while their baby, Harry, received lifesaving treatment for congenital heart disease. Their experience shows exactly why our Houses matter so much when families are facing their toughest moments. ❤️

It only takes a moment to show your support.
