Upton Scouts will be at the Volunteers Recruitment Event at The Tudor House Museum, Upton Upon Severn, this coming Saturday 7th March 11am-2pm.

We’re always looking for new volunteers from all walks of life to help support the young people in our local community. If you can spare a few hours a month and would like to get involved, come along and have a chat to find out what Scouts is all about.

Did you know that Scouts can bring a friend or sibling along to one of our meetings for a free taster evening?
If your child has a friend or relative age 10 ½ - 14 that they’d love to share Scouts with, this is the perfect opportunity. Their guest can come along, join in the fun, try some of our activities, and see what Scouts is all about, completely free of charge.
It’s a great way for them to share the experience, make new friends, and enjoy everything we do each week.

Would you like to help the young people of Upton?

We have an amazing team of volunteers at Scouts 1st Upton, but we need more to join us and to ensure that we can continue to provide the best activities and experiences for our local young people. In particular our Cubs and Scouts need new helpers to join.

You don’t need to come every single week, 2 or 3 times a month, or whatever you can manage will be great!

You don’t need to be an avid hiker, camper or knot guru to help out. We welcome everyone of all ages, abilities and interests.

If you'd like to give back something to the young people of Upton and you think you may be able to help, why not give it a try? Get in touch, come to a session and see what Cubs/ Scouts is really all about.

Our Cubs pack, for ages 8 – 10 ½ years, meets on Tuesdays 6.00 – 7.30pm and is urgently in need of new helpers to join the team. Could that be you?
