Countdown - 1 week to go, don’t miss out!!

Our show next week is called Opera For All, and for good reason. Our mission is to bring opera to everybody, specifically those that wouldn’t usually get the opportunity to experience this wonderful art form 🎭

Thames Opera Company was created by members of the Royal Opera House Community Chorus and has built on a legacy of high standards, accessibility and inclusivity. We rehearse in Upminster and most of our chorus live in Thurrock or Havering 🥰

We’d love it if you could join us, so why not bring a friend and come along 👉

Meet our Artistic Director Jeremy Haneman, here talking about how he gets us (non auditioned singers) at Thames Opera Company to go beyond our limitations 🥰

Discover how we sing off by heart, learn 8-10 part harmonies and perform in the original language, including Italian, French and German.

You can see us live in action at Queen’s Theatre, Hornchurch on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th April in our show OPERA FOR ALL.

🎶 Just 3 weeks to go — and only TWO performances.

In three weeks’ time, 80 voices will fill the stage for a powerful live operatic performance — and there are just two chances to experience it.

Hosted by Ian Skelly, BBC Radio 3, this is more than a concert. It’s the sound of a community coming together for one unforgettable night of music.

Whether you’re a regular opera-goer or completely new, this is the perfect opportunity to experience the energy of a full choir live.
