This is 4 year old Gift when we first met him. His parents had no idea that his ‘problem’ could be fixed. We stepped in and he received free surgery at the Beit Cure hospital in Blantyre. He came to see Elspeth on her last day in Malawi - now a happy 17 year old! We still help local children ‘fix’ problems their parents don’t understand or are too poor to pay for the transport to hospital. If you’d like to help please give a donation at justgiving.com/smilemalawi
Thank you x

An amazing trip once again to Smile Malawi - highlights here in photos. We are very short of funds now so please help us keep the smiles - any amount helps! Justgiving.com/smilemalawi for donations. Please note that all expenses incurred by our trustees during this trip were funded by themselves. Every penny raised through Smile Malawi goes to running the home and education for our children.

An overwhelming morning today when the village mothers came to greet me and thank Smile Malawi for the 16 months of feeding their little ones through the famine last year. Such beautiful children flourishing now because we stepped in and helped in the crisis.
