Thanks to your fundraising support, when the weather (inevitably) turns again, we have fantastic facilities in the Bradbury Centre to retreat to! 🌧 We've enjoyed the sensory room, ball pit, and social space to do some arts and crafts. And when we've been out, we've found shelter to enjoy the immersive sensory experiences that are The Nature Collective tropical fish and the South Parade Pier arcades!

We all know The Proclaimers walked 500 miles. Well, that's nothing!

We're delighted to say our ambassador Bruce Elkins and his 'Rose Roadies' team have now 𝙘𝙮𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 500 miles to reach the Scottish border, and 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲 "𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲" to reach John o'Groats by next week!

All as part of their two-week 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱'𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗼'𝗚𝗿𝗼𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 for Rose Road, to help fund sporting and active experiences for our young people, from things like water activities, Wetwheels Solent CIC boat trips, accesible cycling, and other inclusive sporting activities.

A huge thank you to Gary and members of the incredible IMCC motorcycle club who made their way through Southampton to the Bradbury Centre on Saturday as part of their special ‘Big Foot Bike Run’ fundraiser in aid of Rose Road that raised £300.21!

They arrived with roaring revs and brought a real sense of community spirit before hosting a BBQ to raise funds for the disabled children and young people we support.

Thank you again Gary and IMCC, it was lovely to be able to host your event.

Young people staying in Respite at Rose Road enjoyed lovely trips out last week, taking the bus to have a picnic in the park and going out with Wetwheels Solent to make the most of the lovely weather. ☀🚌💦⛴

Thanks Harry for being our collection box superstar! He popped over the road to the Premier Stores on Aldermoor Road, to pick up their full box. This local business raises around £450 every year just from customers' loose change - an incredible effort from our amazing local community. Thank you!
